hello there,

i see that you used one of my pictures for your icons, specifically #14, and i would appreciate credit. i see that neither my name (cari ann wayman) nor a link to my flickr page (http://www.flickr.com/yyellowbird) is listed here, or on any resources page. also, my pictures are not "stock" --they are copyrighted to me, and i certainly don't mind you using them for graphics! just as long as credit is given. i also request that you ask anyone who uses these graphics to credit me in the keywords or near the image somewhere.

also, i would appreciate it if you used any of my pictures for other icons or graphics, you would credit me there, too.

what i'm about to say is not a big deal in this case, because you only used one of my pictures, but if in the future you decide to use others, or have used others in the past, i would appreciate it if credit was given on the same page as the icon, not just in a resources page that then further links to your flickr favorites and contacts. i know it's not the usual way icon makers operate, but i receive public, professional, and commercial recognition and compensation for my photographs, thus some of them are under special copyrights because of contracts i have signed which would technically make it illegal for you to use certain images (and for me to let you use the images), especially if they are not directly linked to me. so, like i said, if you ever decide to use more of my pictures, or if you have in the past, direct credit and a link to my flickr on the same page as the icons would be incredibly appreciated.
